Barbara Carnes is a pioneer in the field of training transfer. She co-authored the first book on the subject, Making Training Stick. More recently she is the author of the books Making Learning Stick, and Making Training Stick: A Training Transfer Field Guide, and her newest book, Making E-Learning Stick.  Barbara is a frequent presenter at national and international training conferences, including the American Society for Training & Development, TechKnowledge, DevCon, the Canadian Society for Training & Development, Learning 3.0, and Creative Training Techniques. Barbara has a PhD in human and organizational systems from Fielding Graduate University, where her dissertation was on training transfer.
