Adam B. Arthur oversees the Virtual Platform Initiative (VPI) program for the CDC’s Center for Surveillance, Epidemiology, and Laboratory Services. Arthur directs VPI use cases, generating best practices and virtual engagement and learning solutions for the federal government and government partners.
Adam has considerable experience advising government agencies and associations on trends and solutions in technology and virtual engagement innovations. His team produced the government’s first social networking platform, www.phConnect.org, and the first virtual and hybrid online conference portals in government. He has been featured in numerous publications, including The Huffington Post, Convene magazine, and BizBash magazine. Adam recently received the CDC’s Sustainability Star award and HHS’s Green Champion, Change Agent award for his work in bringing green, virtual technologies to the government.
