Cheryl is SkillDirector’s managing partner, a role she’s held since 2002. She manages all client engagements and product development of the Self-Directed Learning Engine (SDLE), the engine behind the ATD Career Navigator. Cheryl’s goal is helping people and companies achieve their potential. She believes people are intrinsically motivated to excel, given the opportunity and access to development activities that are "edutaining," engaging, and consumable, a philosophy embodied in the SDLE.

Cheryl has a strong background in consulting, marketing, and sales; her experience mainly comes from technology companies, where training played a chief role in her career. Cheryl holds bachelor’s degrees from Syracuse University in computer science and human relations. She also has an MBA with concentrations in marketing and international business from the University of South Florida.
