The Globally Harmonized System: Global - Yes. Harmonized...???

Many companies in North America as well as companies that sell into North America are currently wrestling with the new Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) SDS and labeling deadlines mandated by OSHA. This goes both ways as North American companies grapple with the many variants of GHS globally.
This free webinar will outline and discuss various issues in complying with GHS at home and in the global arena. These include the variations in SDS format and content required, and the differences in classifications, concentration limits and building blocks. Issues surrounding classification and sources of information now relevant to GHS will be discussed in detail. This late into the game the focus of the webinar will lean toward what you might not know about a global GHS.

The webinar will also discuss some ways to take the complexity out of complying with GHS SDS and labeling and its accompanying requirements, and will describe how to convert and translate existing product MSDSs into compliant GHS SDSs and labels.
