Matthew O’Connor oversees HCR ManorCare’s learning services department, which helps functional departments develop their strategy for employee learning and assists with implementing their strategy using the company’s learning management system. He has worked at HCR ManorCare for nearly 15 years. Matthew holds a PhD in research from the University of Toledo, an MBA in healthcare management from the University of Findlay, an MA in industrial/organizational psychology from Xavier University, and a BA in psychology from the University of Toledo. In addition, he recently completed his Six Sigma Black Belt Certification in healthcare at Villanova University.
Jennifer Orcelletto is a learning assessment and strategy specialist at HCR ManorCare, responsible for incorporating the organization’s strategy for learning with related technologies. She has a human resources background and spent nine years as an HR generalist before moving into her current role. Jennifer was involved in the implementation of HCR ManorCare’s learning management system and most recently partnered with HR to implement a web-based employee succession system. Jennifer focuses primarily on blending the organization’s learning needs with the technology systems that are in place. She has 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Ohio State University.
