Organizations will be facing rapid change in the coming years. From artificial intelligence to automation, new technologies are predicted to create, change, or eliminate jobs—which is why being prepared for these changes is so important. This webcast will examine how talent development leaders are preparing their organizations for the future of work, defined as broad changes expected to impact the workforce in the next five years.

Drawing on research from ATD’s new research report The Future of Work: Technology, Predictions, and Preparing the Workforce, this webcast shares insights about the plans talent development leaders have made to ensure their organizations are future-ready. We will also discuss the extent to which organizations are currently using technologies such as big data, automation, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and 3D printing. Lastly, this webcast identifies the practices associated with future-readiness and offers recommendations for preparing for the future of work.

Shauna Robinson
Shauna Robinson

Research Analyst, ATD

Shauna Robinson is a junior research analyst at the Association for Talent Development (ATD). Her previous positions at ATD include human capital specialist and communities of practice coordinator. 

Prior to working for ATD, Shauna was a senior editorial assistant at Wiley in San Francisco, California. Shauna received a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Berkeley, and she is currently attending the University of Connecticut remotely to obtain a master's degree in survey research.


Dana Koch
Dana Koch

Learning Research and Innovation Lead, Accenture

As the learning research and innovation lead at Accenture, Dana Alan Koch has more than 30 years of experience in learning and talent development. His team leverages innovation, human-centered design, benchmarking research, measurement, and deep expertise in learning to create the future of learning at Accenture. In addition, his team works on Accenture’s more complex and mission-critical internal learning challenges. In recent years, he has been an integral part of the company’s work in learning strategy and architecture, as well as onboarding, video for learning, teaching effectiveness, mobile learning, and Accenture’s blended solutions. Dana holds a patent for his innovative work in process design for rapid e-learning. He has designed courses on topics that include finance, chemistry, innovation, and contract risk.

Dana has a BA from Brigham Young University in organizational communications and an MA from Northwestern University’s Institute for the Learning Sciences in the School of Education and Social Policy. He is a frequent presenter at conferences and webinars, and has written articles for TD, Chief Learning Officer magazine, and other publications. Dana served as the chairman of the ATD Forum Advisory Group in 2013 and 2014 and currently serves on the ATD Public Policy Council and the editorial board of CTDO magazine. He is skilled in human-centered design, innovation, learning strategy, learning technology, learning experience design, and learning architecture.
