Dr. Ann Marie Sastry is the founder and CEO of Amesite, an award-winning AI software company that creates smart, intuitive learning environments to help organizations thrive. Ann Marie has commented widely on online learning and the future of work, including appearances and commentary on CNBC, Yahoo! Finance, Fox Business, Forbes, and Business Insider. She was previously CEO and co-founder of Sakti3, recognized as one of MIT’s 50 Smartest Companies and for technology entrepreneurship by President Barack Obama at the White House. She was an Arthur F. Thurnau Professor at the University of Michigan (UM’s highest teaching honor) for 17 years, founding research centers and a graduate program. She has co-authored more than 200 research publications, patents, and filings and delivered more than 100 invited lectures around the world (for example, National Institute of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), National Academy of Engineering (NAE), MIT, Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, University of Oxford, and University of Cambridge).
