With almost 20 years' experience in the financial services industry, Rhys is a passionate, visionary strategist who strives to create a culture of engagement, empowerment, and excellence for his team and their stakeholders.

As the Assistant Vice President of Learning and Talent Management at Delta Community Credit Union in Atlanta, Georgia, he has the privilege of overseeing the design, development, delivery, and reinforcement of innovative and impactful learning and development programs. All programs aim to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of employees and leaders for the ultimate benefit of the credit union’s members. He and his team pursue a consistent, world-class, and participant-focused learning pedagogy centered around employee role and career success. Previously as a Regional Branch Manager, he managed the day-to-day operations of six retail banking branch locations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance in member sales and service. He is extremely passionate about coaching and employee development. Rhys holds a BA in English from the University of Georgia, and a Leadership Excellence Certification from the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University.

In his spare time, Rhys enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews, going on spontaneous weekend road trips, and co-owning a small antiques dealing business.
