Ravi is Head of the Leadership Engagement Practice, Global Learning & Development at Suzlon Energy Ltd. He currently drives the leadership engagement and knowledge management initiative as part of the learning & development function. With a background and experience in visualization, content design and delivery, Ravi plays a key role in defining the end-to-end learning strategy, deployment and impact on business performance for the enterprise. Prior to this, he established the resource management practice to enable enterprise-wide self-learning through implementation of a technology-based learning repository.
Earlier, Ravi led Performance through Learning, an online education portal of Adayana, a learning services provider operating out of Hyderabad (India) and Minnesota, USA. He believes in integrated synthesizing of practices of Instruction Design, Visual Communication, Technology Design, and Product Design to truly develop and deliver effective and engaging learning, a practice that he helped institutionalize at Adayana. Ravi has been in the learning domain for almost two decades. He began his career at the Multimedia Systems Laboratory of the National Informatics Centre, New Delhi, in the early 1990s, where he participated in India's first technology initiative to enhance the quality of public services. Between 1995 and 2001, he headed the Visual Communication group of LearningByte International, a pioneer in the e-learning space in India.
Ravi is an architect by education with a bachelor's degree from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, India. His master’s degree is in Visual Communication from the Industrial Design Center, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
