Marla Albertie is the owner and founder of the TuthSpeaksGroup, a multimedia company that delivers resources for the nine-to-five working woman to create work-life harmony (WLH). She has dedicated her life to researching how working women can create work-life harmony, not work-life balance, in their lives. She is a skilled trainer in adult education and transition. Albertie is a certified professional, career, and life coach, trainer, author, and blogger with more than 20 years of business, coaching, and training experience. She holds a master’s of education in adult education and a bachelor’s of science in supervision and management. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in I/O psychology. She is the founder of the I.M.A.G.IN.E. (I’M Awesome Growing IN Excellence Women’s Empowerment Conference), the WorkingWoman.co blog, author of 52 Career Tips: Action Steps to Move You Forward, co-author of The Better Business Book, Volume 3, and creator of the "Creating Your Career With Marla J. Albertie" YouTube talk show.


Kelly Bair
Kelly Bair

Senior Program Specialist - Volunteer Education, IEEE

Kelly Bair is a program specialist managing the volunteer education program at the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers. A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Bair holds a master of education in higher education and a bachelor of arts in marine science and biology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo. She began her career as a student affairs professional in Hawaii, where she discovered her passion for learning and development. In her current role she has helped hundreds of volunteers successfully navigate and execute their individual roles. Pulling from more than 20 years of experience, she has designed and developed a successful onboarding and continued development program that empowers and sustains her volunteers from the beginning to end of their leadership cycles. Bair has also earned the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), and she volunteers with her local Mid New Jersey ATD Chapter as a membership and event planning liaison.


Laura Lowden
Laura Lowden

Learning Experience Design Specialist, Chesterfield County Public Schools

Laura Lowden is the learning experience design specialist for Chesterfield County Public Schools, where she creates online learning experiences for school division employees. She loves crafting digital learning experience solutions for a variety of audiences. She is also the project manager for the online professional learning catalog and registration application that supports training opportunities for more than 6,000 employees. Lowden holds a master's degree in educational leadership from Concordia University, and she earned the Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credential in 2018.


Denise Hicken
Denise Hicken

Sr. Learning Consultant, Atrium Health Floyd

Denise Hicken is a senior learning consultant for Floyd Health System in Rome, Georgia. Her primary focus is leadership development, with a special emphasis on culture enhancement. In 2018 a program she leads, Culture Conversations, was nominated as one of the top people-related initiatives for the Floyd Health System. She develops online learning for clinical and non-clinical divisions and serves as the administrator for the online learning system. Prior to joining Floyd, Hicken worked as a contract instructional designer for AT&T in Atlanta. While living in Missouri, she directed the professional development program for a large bank. In this position, she developed a successful mystery shopping program based upon the bank's standards of service, which she helped write and hardware. Previously, she was a television news executive producer. Hicken holds a master's of education from the University of Missouri, a bachelor's of journalism from the University of Missouri, and the CPLP credential. She is a certified DDI facilitator and is also certified to facilitate Crucial Conversations and Crucial Accountability.
